| Farm animals are useful sources of fertilizer, food, and clothing. One dairy goat can provide about a ton of milk and two to three kids annually. Sheep cheese, though uncommon in the U.S., is tasty and very popular in other parts of the world. Goat milk, unlike cow milk, contains all of the essential amino acids, making it the only regular source of complete protein for countless traditionally vegetarian populations all over the world. Goat dairy products are easier to digest than cow milk, and may even help to prevent some types of gastrointestinal problems.
